Jenner Depot, a branch of Jenner Ag, is seeking a full-time, dependable Precision Field Service Technician. The territory will cover approximately a 150-mile radius around Peoria, IL. This is a remote position, but candidates must live within the territory.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct pre- and post-delivery inspections on new equipment and prep sales orders to help our customers grow and expand their business.
  • Repair and refurbish used equipment as recommended by sales and management.
  • Strives to become a partner with accounts to ensure their future growth and profitability.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism and personal ethics in all business transactions with said accounts.
  • Install GPS and Precision products on tractors and planters.
  • Contacts, resolves, and follows up on all service issues within 24 hours.
  • Works with the company as a team to produce profitable growth.
  • Completes all reports and work as requested within an acceptable time frame. Which may include, but is not limited to: Field reports, service orders, budgets, forecasts, customer service issues, and warranty issues.
  • Provide phone support to customers.

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Diesel mechanic knowledge and experience and own their own tools.
  • Agriculture experience is strongly preferred.
  • One year of mechanical experience
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and perform work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
  • Achievement-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on challenges, solve problems, and find solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work beyond normal business hours when needed to support customer and business needs.
  • Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions.
  • Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and desire to be an engaged member of a team.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain.
  • A good driving record including: no more than one chargeable accident within the last three years, no more than one moving violation in the last three years, and no D.U.I. in the past 7 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
