OutRun is a self-contained retrofit kit that enables autonomous grain cart operation with tractors. Mounted on the roof of the grain cart tractor, the OutRun kit interfaces with the tractor and enables the combine operator to use a tablet to:
-
- Position the grain cart around the field
- Recall the cart for a pickup
- Send the cart to the truck
RSVP by July 8 to see the demo and enjoy a free ribeye lunch. Two sessions are available: 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. OR 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One person who has noticed that savings is John J. Traub, one part of a father/sons farming operation near Fairbury, Illinois. John has been using 360 YIELD SAVER for several years on his combine and has noticed a significant improvement in the number of lost kernels left on the ground.
“When I’m setting my combine in the fall, not having to quantify head loss is a big plus. The time savings there is awesome,” says John. “I know that if I jump out of my combine any time during harvest I can walk over to whatever pass I want, and what’s on the ground is not out of my head; it’s out of my machine.”
Whereas traditional corn heads have gaps in the deck plates and gathering chains that lead to the loss of corn kernels, YIELD SAVER solves this problem by using intermeshing bristles and unique gathering chains to eliminate the gaps. They work together to capture significantly more corn kernels than traditional corn heads.
Poly blocks and intermeshing bristles reduce loss two ways: by cushioning the ear’s impact and reducing butt shelling, capturing more kernels. The bristle blocks provide a soft landing for ears, which means less shelling, and the kernels that do come off the cob are captured by a long auger, ensuring that few are lost.
One added bonus John sees is less volunteer corn in the springtime. “I don’t like to see volunteer corn. Being no-till, strip-till guys, if you aren’t doing a good job with your combine or your head, is leaving kernels out everywhere, and that can look terrible when volunteer corn starts popping up.” John says since using YIELD SAVER they now have virtually no issues with volunteer corn.
360 YIELD SAVER can pay for itself within the first few fields and generate approximately 3X ROI after three years of use. It easily mounts on corn heads, and the blocks seamlessly attach to the chain. After repeated use, you should expect wear or bristles to look a little ugly, but if you follow maintenance guidelines the kernel savings will remain pristine and beautiful.
“I follow the maintenance guidelines outlined by the Jenner Precision team and replace half of my brushes every year,” says John. “That keeps everything running like it should, and I don’t deal with any of the trash coming through my machine.” John jokes, “360 YIELD SAVER is sweet; I wouldn’t give them back.”
Following the plant tour, associates visited the 20,000-square-foot Racine Experience Center, where they got to connect with the past, present, and future of the Case IH brand. The center houses heritage pieces that played a vital role in the development of the Magnum™ series tractor that we see today.
It was all part of a fun-filled weekend trip to Racine & Kenosha, WI, that associates won as a part of a company-wide The Great Game of Business MiniGame!
The clinic featured experienced presenters who shared valuable information about the latest trends and developments. The sessions were very insightful, thanks to the presence of Precision Planting’s Eric Huber, Crop-Tech Consulting’s Ken Ferrie, Jenner Precision's Bryan Fehr and 360 Yield Center's Dave Murphy.
Eric provided us with invaluable insights on the Precision Planting product lineup, including SymphonyNozzle™ and ReClaim™, while also discussing the future of spraying. Bryan also shared his thoughts on broadcast vs. branding application. Dave showcased the impressive 360 WAVE and 360 RAIN products from 360 Yield Center. Lastly, Ken offered tips on success with cover crops, making sure you profit from carbon credits programs and best tillage practices.
Attendees got the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions and presentations that covered various topics related to planting. The presentations were designed to help attendees avoid common and costly maintenance mistakes, learn how to confidently set the planter to optimize emergence, and gain insight on how to maximize acres planted without sacrificing planting accuracy. Additionally, the presentations also offered guidance on how to properly clean and close the furrow, and how to drive early plant growth through planter-applied liquid. The event featured a presentation by Eric Huber, an expert from Precision Planting, who shared valuable insights on the latest innovations in the world of precision planting.
During the tour, the team got an exclusive glimpse into the inner workings of the plant and witnessed firsthand the cutting-edge technology and techniques used in the production of New Leader's high-quality agricultural equipment. It was an informative and engaging experience, which left the team with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the innovative manufacturing processes involved in bringing top-of-the-line products to market.
This event is known for providing top-notch training on the latest technology in ag retail. Our team was treated to a tour of Raven's headquarters and production facilities, where they witnessed the cutting-edge technologies and processes that go into making Raven products. Additionally, they received in-depth training at the Raven Product Development Center, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in precision agriculture.
